A Word from the Experts

We’re not huge fans of assumptions. In an age of half-truths and fact deficits we think it’s better to stay curious, ask questions and hear directly from people who actually know what they’re talking about.

This page brings together short interviews and field notes from tree planters, ecologists, re-wilding specialists and generally green-thinking humans doing interesting things across the UK. We’ll explore subjects like “What is carbon literacy?”, “Could I survive alone in the woods for a week?”, and “Can I plant a tree in a window box?” Spoiler alert: probably better in the ground, but let us know if you prove us wrong.
